Her eyes glazed over once more, and she went into a sort of trance. This was a special place that was reserved for her over the top unicorness. "Unicorns are majestic beauties that make the world a better place. One day I will have a unicorn farm and I will.... I will..." Wheeze. "...love them forever." Inbetween addressing students' answers Professor Thompson had a feeling one of his students in particular would be excited for this. The type of reaction however, he didn't expect at this volume. The high pitch squealing made his goose honk in dissaproval. Which in turn caused some of the other habitats of the nearby pens react.
After a few moments before the ruckus subsided the Professor could only glance at the young Gryffindor. " Five points from Gryffindor, Miss Valentine for that interruption." Not that he didn't understand why she had done that. " While they'll likely appreciate your love for them. You'll have to remember to keep control of yourself."

Blair wasn't exactly sure how much truth there was in that statement but hopefully the Professor could correct her otherwise. " You heard correctly Miss Anderson. Their horns contain purrification properties that help break down and dissolve poisons."
" Excellent." Addressing those who answered and those who were paying attention if not answering. There were only a few facts not mentioned, " Unicorn foals at birth are gold-coloured as Mr. Hirase mentioned. Every two years until their seventh year of age their appearance changes. First gold then silver to where their horn develops by the age of four. By seven years they mature and appear pure white." As for their food, " Their typical diet involves mainly grass and small vegetables." As few knew from that one incident when they escaped the forest.
Now then moving on, " As a few of you have mentioned, Adult Unicorns prefer women's presence over men's. Why do you think that is?"
