Cosgrach frowned. It was better to ask than risk vanishing her potion. "Have you added the rest of that mixture?" he asked as he walked to her side. No need for everyone to hear his question.

Yeah.

Cosgrach walked over to the boy to look at it, and he siiiighed.

"You got the spell wrong, and with spell-work, it's not worth the effort to try reversing it. So, vanish and start over, please." At least it didn't explode.

Cosgrach HEARD it, and hurried towards the girl. She got it wrong? She was a firstie? BAD COMBINATION! His heart was already beginning to beat faster, and upon seeing that the potion didn't show signs of exploding yet, he siiiiighed in relief.

"Evanesco," he said and vanished the contents of her cauldron, because 'no sign of explosion' didn't mean 'no risks'. "if you hadn't cast the spell, we could have saved it, but since you didn't..." She had to start over.

Sorry not sorry. She should have been more careful, but Cosgrach WAS sympathic, and even smiled at her, because he wasn't a monster. He actually wanted all of them to be successful.

Cosgrach had glimpsed at this once as he had looked at the first years, and sighed to himself.

"You have no choice but to vanish and start over," he said in a sympathic tone. He knew the pain of starting over, he did. At least this potion was easy.

Agatha as well.

It hurt to see Slytherins fail at it, because potions was actually a Slytherin thing. Meticulous work, and it paid off. It made perfect sense that the biggest potioneers were from Slytherin.

"Please vanish and start over," he said simply and didn't explain why, as he'd already done that 3 times. Start over, and they'd forget about the mistake.

OOC: You guys don't actually have to RP it all from the beginning. You can just assume as if your characters have started over until this step they made a mistake at. But if you want to, you're welcome <3

Once he dealt with mistakes (PHEW), he waved his wand at the blackboard to reveal the next set of steps.

"Please stir seven times clockwise with a CLEAN metal stirrer." Was the 'clean' part clear enough? "Then, add the rest of the lion fur."

Easy, yes?
