Oils? For its scent? Cosgrach looked thoughtful for a moment. "If you think you can, brilliant!" Because imagine a good scent boosting your confidence. How cool was that?

"Professor? I didn't get the identifying your cauldron type owl, sir." It was just silvery. Like always?
What. Was. This. Bug. Ugh.

Cosgrach just flailed his arms around to shoo the stupid bug away, which probably made him look funny. UGH. He hated things with wings!

...

His cauldron type? Cosgrach frowned. How did someone NOT know his cauldron type? It was like a person's name! He walked over to the boy. Must be because of the surname 'Scabior'. No matter how much Kyroh was Kyroh, he still had Scabior blood in him.

"That's pewter," he said, and waited to see if Kyroh Scabior had more questions.

Cosgrach would have rolled his eyes at the boy, but he was too thoughtful to even do that. Would Sophie know..?

"It doesn't matter. What matters is the brewer really takes a handful, however wide their hands may be."

"Not only that," he said, "but it's a general rule that copper cauldron brews the fastest. I guess it's the quality of the metal altogether."

Cosgrach clapped his hands twice to draw their attention. Then, he tapped his wand on the board and the word 'Dominentur' appeared.

"Okay, this potion requires a spell, so without your wands, please practise saying 'Dominentur'. Doh-mee-nen-tur. Let's say it all together." To let him see if anyone got a problem with it. He hoped not. He didn't join the choir, but waited for them to repeat it and tried to catch if any of them had a problem with it. Once they were done, the rest of the step appeared.

"Wave your wand while saying 'Dominentur'," he said, pronouncing the word caaareeeefully for them to hear it once more, "then add the rest of the mixture. Its colour should be black." Any questions? Any colours other than the noble black??!!
