"Runic magic can be used for tracking and catching suspects." He paused. "If you remember from few terms ago, for those who I taught before, we learned about Runic Wards. They're just like curses, a series of integrated runes bound together to serve a purpose. Runic wards can be used in security and tracking. It is a lot harder and trickier to use than the usual spells, but runic magic, once done properly, is a lot harder to break or override-- for lack of better word." Botros hoped someone was writing those things down...?

"What rune or runes, do you think, will be most helpful to the MLE department?" For security and tracking purposes, of course.
