Right. The lesson was starting. Adi thought it was a wonder his Head of House did not loose her balance as she stood up. But he figured she must have had gotten used to heels. Anyway... Techne? Hmmm. The third year raised his left hand. "It means creating, perhaps, Professor?'' That was purely a guess.

It was sort of magic, some of the advances coming about in the muggle community, when one considered it. "The technological advances help to make muggles more productive, which in essence is what magic already does for us."

"Take five minutes and brainstorm different technological advances in muggle society - be in the computer or something less concrete like the internet - and write down its magic counterpart. For example, you might compare the telephone to the patronus. Try and write at least five examples on your papers."
