Cris had been worried about the creatures that were held in the Playpens. The cold weather had been getting so much worse that he was afraid they would freeze to death. So he was glad to discover that the animals were safely up here in the Room Of Requirement.

He had somehow found it...mostly on luck...and walked in...to the glorious smell of creatures. They were alive. The first creatures he immediately headed for were the Puffskeins, since they were making the most noise.

Cris sat down in the middle of the group of them and pulled all of them onto his lap. He reached into his pocket and searched to see whether he had anything to feed them. But finding nothing, he gently placed the Puffskeins back on the ground before getting up.

He looked around until he found what he thought looked like a food bin and walked over towards it.
