Ferris figured of all of the places that humans would not want to interact the Hall of Mirrors would be at the top of that list. And, to be frank, he was not exactly comfortable with human interaction as a convention. People expected talking when it came to conversing and he was not good at that...or anything that did not involve running away from other people.
