"I don't suppose the 'At 'as been wrong before 'as 'e?" She said, with a smile mirroring Louis'.

"I'm fascinating by zings like zis Whomping Willow, I just don't zhink it very appropriate to have at a school for children," Justine said, absent mindedly braiding a small piece of her hair as she spoke.

"I'm 'alf english too remember, I improvised," she said cheekily, lightly pushing his arm in jest. Oh, she would get him for that. "Je vais essayer d'être un enseignant juste, à tout le moins, maid pas de pro messes!" She added in the same half teasing, half serious sounding tone.

Justine breathed a sigh of relief as they finally crossed the bridge and she was one more on safe ground, she waited patiently for her tour guide to direct her.
”I suppose not,” Louis replied thoughtfully as Justine talked about the Sorting Hat never being wrong. At the end of the day, almost every student he’d met had qualities that sort of fit all four Houses anyway. Perhaps there wasn’t such a thing as ‘the wrong House’ in the first place.

When Justine expressed her disbelief over the Whomping Willow being on school grounds, Louis nodded his head. “I agree completely. But whenever I bring it up my classmates just look at me like I’m the crazy one for minding it,” he said with a chuckle, burying his hands into the pockets of his coat as a chilly wind danced past them.

The boy laughed lightly when Justine teased him after his comment on her use of a common phrase. Whaddayaknow, the teacher had jokes of her own! He grinned at her, but his expression turned puzzled as she spoke again in French. “Je ne suis pas sûr que je comprends…” he said, brows furrowed. “I understood the first half, I think.” The boy wasn’t used to hearing the language so often, so he tended to get lost if it was spoken too quickly.

A moment later, both kids were back on solid, non-creaky or wobbly ground. Louis nodded at the silhouette of a very large, peaceful-looking tree in the distance. “There it is. The object of your fascination.” He turned to Justine with a smile before walking again, in the direction of the tree. They were still too far for it to even spot them, though, and so it continued to sway gently with the light breeze, looking as innocent as any other tree would. "Is he as beautiful as you imagined?" the boy teased.
