West was leaning on the railing looking out over the grounds. It was nice to be back. Quidditch tryouts took up a huge chunk of his thoughts, but also Alice things, and Dead Kneazles things. Busy mind. This wasn't one of those not-thinking moments, and the bridge was a good place for introspection.
The sixteen year old took hold of his ring which he now wore on a chain around his neck rather than on his finger, and stared out at the view.
