Hmmm....alright, this she would half help with, but only half because she was still obviously throwing a 14 year old's tantrum. No magic, no retaliation. Whoever it was, they would get away with this and her house would have to do twice as much work. Lex watched Anya and added a stick or two of her own, but no major contribution. Nope. She was over this class. Over everyone but her getting to use magic. Fina frowned over at one of the older Lioness' saying they needed help cause of some practical joker interfering with their progress. She was about to offer some help, but it seemed some of her housemates were determined to get it finished. That was the spirit! All that yapping and not enough working ... at least they had something, unlike the Eagle campfire....

Kat decided to help the others fix the teepee pyramid thing with the twigs and branches. She knelt down and did the last bit of it, plus the finishing touches... then she looked at the perimeter stone thing. Everything was actually in place but final touches were necessary. Kat wanted everything sort of perfect, you know? How perfectionist of her. Lighting up the fire though. "I'll do that, but I don't think we're allowed to light it up yet." Or were they? Kat looked at Professor Hadley for the final instructions.
"Oh and you did great, helping with the campfire." Kat was grateful. Her Slytherins were awesome and she couldn't imagine how much she'd miss them after she graduates. Quote:

Sophie didn't understand why everybody always had to act so happy-go-lucky. Couldn't they just collect their hard-earned points, eat, and leave? That sounded like a good idea to her.
Then some older Slytherin announced they were done with their fire. Oh...they were? Sophie looked over at it. Looked good to her. She sort of faced the professor and GRINNED. "Look at us! We're awesome!" that grin seemed to say. Hearing the Snakes working and finishing up, Fina frowned when a first year asked for a flint or something to light it. Did she not say she had to approve the layout of the campfire before lighting it? Ah well, at least the Head Girl and Hannah had been paying attention; thank Wenlock for the older housemates.

Ella liked that everyone was doing their best to help but she sort of felt in the way so the blonde had taken a step back, watching Kaiden take the leadership position. He was doing a really good job too, making sure things were set up like they needed to be. Ella was for finishing quickly if it meant s'mores before leaving class.
The sixth year heard Kaiden call over to Hadley so they could get the okay to light and she smiled a little, impressed by the fire set-up. "Nice job, you guys." Really, it looked brilliant. And then just as she got finished telling the Snakettes to go ahead and light it, she heard Kaiden calling her over. Professor Lady? Really now? After five years he didn't know her name? Glancing it over, she nudged one of the stones slightly with her toe, and nodded approvingly. "Yes, yes. It looks alright .... and I suppose you can light it, just be careful." Anyway, time wasn't slowing down and they'd fallen behind. And she still had one grocery bag left on her desk, which the contents remained a mystery. "Alright, so one of the things mentioned for what muggles do with campfires was roasting marshmallows and s'mores. What do we need in order to make s'mores?" Yes, this meant she MIGHT just have been breaking one of her classroom rules about food, but it was all in the name of education, right?!
