Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Did Minerva Wheatborn miss that memo? It looks like she did to us, pumpkins. Ethan McCarthy, recent Hogwarts graduate and stud muffin, has only been away from his girlfriend for a month and it looks like Miss Wheatborn doesn’t do distance well. The whispers around the castle point fingers toward deliciously dashing Hufflepuff Head Boy, Wade Potter. Hmmm.

The pair of them have been spotted hanging out closely and even exiting Astronomy with arms linked. Maybe we’re old fashioned but that looks like a romantic stroll to us, dearies.

Who can blame her? Potter is downright tempting. However, it does seem odd that her fancy not been brushed aside by the Head Boy because Potter is still dating Indy Hutchinson. The plot thickens. Do the significant others of our Hufflepuff romancers know about Wheatborn and Potter’s close friendship? We’d like to know.

All we will say is this: we wish we had a friend like that.
