60. Joke

Aurora groaned coming into her office after a mid-morning staff meeting. Her desk seemed even worse of a mess then it had beforehand as if the house-elves and owls were all playing a cruel joke on her.

So not funny.

She shifted though the piles to look them over. Within them, Aurora spotted the red envelope of a howler shaking violently and cringed picking it up. As uncertain as she was to its contents, the last time she had let one explode it had taken forever to clean up.

The room was soon filled with a screaming parent’s voice.

Sigh.
