Having gone back to lean on his desk along with the two kids, Botros was too tired to walk over to students now. He nodded toward the Hufflepuff boy, "No problem at all." Good to see some boys enjoying the pendant. It wsa not just THor's hammer. But no one had flipped it to see what was carved behind, "Damage to class material is not significant when you learn how to handle an Uruz gandr." Duh.

Botros' face brightened up again as more and more students managed to crack open the metal boxes. He made a soft gesture with his hand for the boy, "Yes, of course. You all are going to keep your rewards." Again, it was not just a pendant.

But she didn't know what he planned to do with a bunch of hammers that he was probably too OLD to pick up, anyways, and she would put one to good use. "If you supervised me while I used it, then could I keep it, sir?" And then she beaaaamed at him.

Because he was cool, whether he let her keep the hammer or not.

BUT SHE WANTED THE HAMMER.

He wanted to pat this girl's head. Again. But she was too far away, so it sufficed to just give her a sympathetic look, ""Who questions much, shall learn much, and retain much."" He quoted, pleased with her. "However, "To find the exact answer, one must first ask the exact question."" He could quote great quota all day, the important thing is for her to understand how questions and answers work.

As for her bidding, he shook his head gently. "I'm afraid you cannot, my dear. Those hammers will go back where they came from."

When everyone seemed to be done with their smashing, Botros gestured for the Hufflepuff and the Gryffindor standing next to him to go back to their desks. He needed to wrap this lesson up before heading for his office for a long break. And potions, it was probably the time for his meds.

"Okay, everyone, put your hammers down if you haven't already and listen to me carefully." He let go of his cane, putting all his wait on the desk behind him, and clapped to get their attention. "As you can see there is a small pendant of Thor's hammer inside each one of those wooden boxes." He was pretty proud of this one. "Those pendants are not just jewelry to help you look good--" He obviously thought they were so. "--but also runic charms to help you concentrate on your study. If you flip it around, you'll notice three Runes carved on the back; Sowilo, Fehu, and Jera." He paused allowing them to look at it more carefully.

"This is also a runic charm for success, it doesn't magically make you score O's in your studies, or help you win quidditch matches." That was Felix Felicis. "It helps you be at peace with your efforts when you venture a new step in your life." He smiled and expected everyone to be as impressed with how runes work as he was.

Grabbing the cane and moving around to sit back on his chair finally, Botros continued, "As of this moment, class is done." He tapped the blackboard behind him.
