Just to the left of the large arena double doors is an aged looking pedestal that holds a rather old book, as well as a black ink bottle and quill. It's not particularly for reading, but much more for documenting. Ever wanted to earn house points for practicing your defensive and offensive skills? Well, now you can! Learn how to do so below:

1. Please have a practice duel in the dueling arena with your choice of partner.
2. Once finished, write down the following information into a single post in this thread:

☑ Names of duelers involved.
☑ User Names, Houses, and ID numbers of duelers involved.
☑ The outcome of the duel. [i.e. who won the duel and the winning spell.]
☑ Number of the post that started and ended your duel.

It is your responsibility to log your duel. If you do not enter the duel results into this thread, I can only assume your duel was for fun and you will not be awarded points. Please include all of the information into the log book thread (see example post) or you may not earn the points you've worked so hard to obtain.

I will be reading the duels in the dueling arena thread, so please do not enter information into the log book for the sake of hoping to receive house points unless the RP actually took place, or I may be forced to take away house points from you.

➯ Each student [both winner and loser] will be awarded up to 10 points per duel logged depending on quality and number of posts.
➯ Duels against the same house [EX: Gryffindor vs. Gryffindor] may only be awarded up to 5 points.
➯ Please do not duel against the same opponent more than once.
➯ Please do not log your results until your duel is completed.
➯ You may receive credit for no more than 3 duels per student. After the maximum is reached, you are still welcome to RP a duel in the arena, but I will not award further points to you for your duels even if you log the results in this thread.
