They weren't dangerous or anything - he hoped - though and up until now he'd never had to experience them first hand.

Up until now.

On his way back to his seat, Lewis was already holding on to the back of his chair when...HER OFFICE?! The color drained from his face and he slowly, very slowly lowered himself into his seat. That couldn't mean anything good. There was definitely a hint of anger in her voice. More than a hint really. "Y-yes, Professor." He replied, before bowing his head slightly so he wouldn't have to look at her anymore. She scared him right now.

And what was this about being made a fool of?
"Yes Professor... Yes professor..." she said in a mocking tone. "And you a prefect..."

Taking out her potions journal, Alyssa quickly noted down the steps.

Alyssa put down her quill and put on her gloves. Taking out her wand she pointed it at both the scalpel and the tray that she would be using and cleaned them by using the Scourgify spell. "SCOURGIFY" Alyssa said as she cast the spell.

Now was the difficutl part for her. Making that first incision. Alyssa looked down at the dead plimpy and whispered,"I'm so sorry to be doing this to you. But rest assured your parts will be used for a good cause."

Alyssa took a deep breath and picked up the scalpel in her right hand and holding one fin with her other, she made an incision right where the scales were under the fin. She then gently removed the fin, and placed it on the tray laying next to her on her work space. She repeated the steps for the rest of the fins, and once they were removed, she placed them all on the tray.

Now for the legs. Placing the scalpel on her workspace, Alyssa held onto the legs of the plimpy and rotated them one at a time, spreading them widely until she heard a popping sound that told her that the legs had popped out of their sockets. Alyssa shuddered when she heard that sound. It just sounded painful.

Picking up her scalpel again, Alyssa cut along the lose skin and when she was done, she pulled the legs off and placed them in the tray. She looked at her slimy gloved hands and shuddered. She knew that there was more to do and wasn't looking forward to doing it but she sat back and waited for further instructions from the Professor.
The little snitch was mumbling to the Plimpy... Oh for Merlin's sakes... "Potter, even if the creature was still alive, it wouldn't be able to understand you."

Dolt...

She heard the Professor's instructions and tried to follow them. She put on her gloves first then got her scalpel and cleaned it off. "Aquamenti!" she said and her scalpel looked good as new. Then started to remove all the fins from the plimpy. She made an incision under the scales of the plimpy. It was kind of cool and she saw all the slime from the fish come off onto the glove.
Now Annabelle was onto the legs. She tried to rotate one at a time. She tried the first leg, but she was hearing no pop.
"Professor, i think i am doing something wrong. I can't hear or feel when the leg is out of its socket." Annabelle said as she raised her hand.
Hecate went over to the child and took the girl's plimpy in her hands, very roughly she twisted the leg and the pop was heard. She handed it back to the girl and said "Be rougher with it. Harvest the leg, and then do the other."

GULP.

He could barely watch as the Professor demonstrated, and found it even more difficult to see Vickers doing it because it was so close to him. He really couldn't do this. Hot people like him shouldn't have to.

"UM, Professor. Me and Vickers are just going to share a bimpy. That way we can help each other, uh, learn better and do a good ole' team effort," and then he won't have to actually cut up the thing himself and could just watch Vickers do it all.

Perfect.
"Plimpy." She said shaking her head. "And fine... if you wish to share... share..."

With the scalpel now clean, she used it to cut an incision under the scales by the fins. Next, she carefully removed all the fins from the creature's body and placed them into the tray.

*poof*

Even though she'd been warned, Sierra blinked when the ingredients suddenly disappeared. Funny how magic worked out sometimes. Turning back to her plimpy, Sierra began to rotate one of the legs until she heard a snap. She cut away the loose skin and then turned to the other leg. In a matter of moments, it was off, as well.

...and then she felt it.

SLIME.

Who. In. The. Name. Of. Merlin. Had. A. Death. Wish.

She turned around, quite slowly all thanks to the slime, and glared at the Puffer sitting behind her. "In the tray," she snapped. "She said to put the ingredients in--..."

...but then she just froze...

...glare in place, staring right at the Puffer. Nothing at all moved on her body. Her eyes didn't blink. Her arms and legs didn't move at all.

She was just...well, frozen in place.
She was just about to scold Sierra for losing her cool... when she froze. "Miss Greingoth..." She said and when the girl didn't answer she said "Prefect Greingoth!" But the girl was not answering...

"Prefect Greingoth, I do not find. This. Funny!" She said now really losing her patience... But she knew Sierra... Sierra would never play a prank on her. Never... Sierra knew first hand Lafay's wrath...

"WHO DID THIS!!!" She yelled at the class. "Who cast on my..." she seemed to think about the word she was going to use. "... on my prefect!"

This can't be good. Nigel had to think about whether he should raise his hand and tell Lafay about the Slytherin Prefect.

Then Nigel saw that Oakey was trying to help the Slytherin Prefect too. He was yelling at her to try and unfreeze her. So maybe Nigel should help.

Oh why not, Nigel raised and waved his hand saying "PROFESSOR, PROFESSOR, The Slytherin Prefect just froze exactly like the Hufflepuff Prefect did"
She closed her eyes and said calmly. "I can SEE that!"

She was not a happy camper.

"Hufflepuffs, if you are loyal to your prefect, you'll tell me who did this... Ravenclaws, if you are smart and don't wish to lose points, you'll tell me, Gryffindors, if you are just, and true you will be brave enough to tell me, and Slytherins... if you are ambitious enough to keep first place on the points board, you'll tell me... Ten points for whoever tatles on the person who cast the spell!"
