To take it all away
Otto Tarrell III and Alesha Uta met a few days before their wedding. Their parents had arranged their marriage. This was common practice for pureblood families, and Otto and Alesha didn't mind too much. After a year, they began trusting each other, and after 3 more years had their first son, who was named after his father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Otto IV was followed by Genevieve, the twins Lucia and Dustin, and Tillie. The young Otto was called "Sepp" by his family, a nickname for his middle name Joseph.

When he was 6 years old, Otto was diagnosed with leukaemia. After intensive chemotherapy, he went into remission. His parents were greatly relieved, and Otto went off to Durmstrang healthy and happy. However, before starting his sixth year the cancer returned. After battling for his life for six months, Otto was allowed back to school. He was to take 3 potions a day to keep his health, but for now the cancer is at bay.

And there're so many things that I want you to know
Otto lives in fear of dying to leukaemia and leaving his family and life behind. He needs that mermaid's wish.

I won't give up till it's over
Otto is imaginative and creative, very much an artist. His favourite form of artwork is photography - you'll never see him without his beloved camera! He feels the need to document everything in poems and photos, because he's constantly afraid he'll fall sick and not be able to enjoy the world anymore. Otto is loyal and fair, but won't stand for anyone being rude or nasty to him or his friends.
