Background:
Kristian has been the gem of her parents’ eyes since she was born. Her parents had met when her father (Ethan) took a trip to France one summer and found the stunning beauty that was her mother (Clarissa). Not able to withstand the mermaids beauty the two found themselves expecting a child before they knew it. Kristian’s earliest memories involve large bodies of water and long , relaxing swims with her mother. Knowing that their daughter had more than just the abilities given to her from the mermaid genes of her mother, they sent her to Beauxbaton’s Academy of Magic to receive what they believed would have been the best education.
At present she has a strong distrust of muggles after having walked through a muggle market with her mother at the age of 10 and having a terrible run in with a few muggle children who called her names once they saw her move water without touching it. She finds magical creatures and ‘normal’ people (as she calls the witches and wizards) much more refreshing and much better company.

Personality:
She can be a bit difficult to get along with for persons who don’t know her and this can be because of what is perceived as an overly competitive drive that lives in her. To her friends, however, she is simply the playful, charming and witty young halfa that they know and love. She has a bit of an argumentative side and her mouth often gets her into trouble but never seriously and she has an almost irrational fear of fire (whether small match lights or blazing forest fires). She treasures her friends and likes to grant their wishes but outside of that she has sworn off of wish granting as she finds some people to be unappreciative of her talents. Most times she’s smiling but when she’s upset she’s the last person you want to be around, when she does get upset—keep her away from water! In general though she is free spirited and at times finds it difficult to take things seriously (this sometimes makes her come across as being uncaring or immature but really this is her way of coping).
