Rolled up in a field in the English countryside is the big and maybe not-so-familiar big top of a travelling circus. The circus, which was once a prominent part of entertainment for young children and their families, is less common in recent years, but still a lot of fun. The noise is apparent from the moment you set foot into the field, making the atmosphere fun immediately. Big promotional boards are set up, advertising exactly who, or maybe what, is happening in the ring tonight.

As you walk into the big top, the smell of pop-corn and hot dogs hit you straight away, and you realise that you will not be going hungry as you watch the entertainment tonight. High above the ring sits a high wire, which seems pretty daunting. Many don’t envy the people that walk across that. Back on the ground, and maybe slightly safer, you can see a rather small, brightly coloured car, which screams out one thing to you. Clowns.

It seems that this travelling circus is going to hold a lot of fun. So take a seat, and wait for the show to begin.
