Hogwarts RPG Name: Secret Snape First Year | 'Your father would not be amused.' You can quote, disagree with, glorify or vilify me But about the only thing you can't do is ignore me
'When can we do something like that again?' asked Secret the next day.
Fred chuckled.
'She's got the "bug".' said George. 'Now you've had a taste of mischief, you want more. It's like a craving, an addiction.'
'Is not.' Secret said stubbornly.
Truth be told, it was. Secret had spent most of her life being a goody-two shoes daddy's girl. Now she was changing, like she saw how much Snape did here.
'Well, we were thinking about charming Quirrell's wand.'
'Sounds good to me!'
Later, the three snuck to Quirrell's office, and saw it was empty, yet he had left his wand on his desk. Fred snuck in and rubbed some ointment on the wand, the scrambled out.
'What was that you rubbed on it?' Secret whispered.
'A little special ointment I made.' said Fred.
'Shh!'
Quirrell came round the corner and walked into his office. He picked his wand up an pointed it at a raven in a cadge. Instead of doing the required spell, it started to whack Quirrell round the back of the head.
'Ow! Ow!' he shouted, trying to runaway from his wand round the room.
The three burst out laughing and made a dash for it.
'That was good.' said Secret.
'Your father would not be amused.' said Fred in a posh voice.
'Oh well.' said Secret. 'Listen, I have another idea...'
Moments later, they were standing outside Trelawney's room.
'Enter my children.'
They came in, and found two other students.
'Ahh, a first year? Come to discover the world before your time? I welcome your enthusiasm. Please, let me discover your talents on my on first. Look into this crystal ball, and tell me what you see.'
Secret stared the glass orb, and faces, shapes, started to appear.
'I see a mirror, huge snake, a man with shaggy hair and prison robes, a flaming goblet, an archway with a veil standing alone in the middle of a room, a golden locket and two jets of light, a green and a red, connecting in the middle.' she said.
Trelawney stared at her.
'My dear, you have a gift. You are a Seer.' she whispered.
Secret stared at her, then stood up.
'Okay then.'
Trelawney gazed at her in awe, then seemed to resume her normal self.
'Today class, we will be doing Tessomancy, which is the art of reading tea leaves. So, could you all come up and take a cup.'
It was at this point, Secret switched Trelawney's cup with the nose biting one she had brought in Zonko's.
'Miss? I'd watch your face if i were you. Something is going to happen to it.' called Secret.
'Thank you. Now, I want you to swirl your dregs around like this... ow!'
Trelawney had leapt up and was attempting to wrench the tea cup off her nose. Fred, George, Secret and the other two students burst into laughter.
'Oh that was the best Divination lesson I've ever had.' said George after they left.
'Might be one subject i don't take in the third year.' said Secret.
'But you've got a gift.' said Fred, his eyes gleaming.
'Oh shut up. That old hag wouldn't recognise a gift it it danced in front of her wearing a eagle on it's head.' said Secret as they descended the stair case. 'What I saw was probably a load of nonsense.'
They turned a corner and ran into Snape.
'Oh hello sir!' said Secret cheerfully. 'I keep bumping into you a lot. Castle's smaller than I first thought.'
Snape looked at the twins.
'I thought I told you to stay away from these two.' he said.
'Must of slipped my mind.'
'Come with me.'
Secret followed her father down to his office. Once inside, he stood in front of her, hands on his shoulders.
'Secret, what is going on here? You've been vanishing a lot recently, and trying to avoid me. I mean today, where were you?' he asked, concerned.
'Well, I had to see Quirrell about some homework, and then went to an extra-curriculium divination lesson to see if it was worth taking in my third year.' she replied.
'So it was you three that charmed Quirrell's wand and switched Trelawney's tea-cup!'
'Might of been.'
'Secret! Those two are a bad influence on you! You're changing!'
'Oh, bit like you then!'
Secret finally managed to get out what had been nagging at her for a while now.
'What aren you on about?' asked Snape, still angry, but a little surprised now.
'In potions, around school! I've never seen you so bitter, so horrible! You're not the man I know at home, Sir!'
Snape was silent.
'I have a reputation to uphold.' he said slowly.
'And I have one to make.' said Secret shortly.
'Then make the right one.'
'What as the goody two shoes daughter of Professor Snape? I don't think so!'
'Secret please, I don't want you to make the wrong choices and end up like your...'
He stopped himself.
'My what? Dad, my what!'
'Nothing.' said Snape.
'Dad, tell me!'
She took a good look at him, with his black eyes and black hair, at the man who was her father, yet, looked nothing like her.
'Who's my father?'
Whatever colour that as in Snape's face drained.
'Who is he!'
'No one, I am!'
'For the love of Flying Saucers, tell me!'
'I am, I am your father!'
'You're not! We look nothing alike! And if you won't tell me, I'll find out for myself!'
With that, she stormed out the room, to the owlery.
'Psst! Zelta!'
He hooted at her from his perch.
'I got a letter for you, to take to St Mungo's.'
He flew down and allowed her to attach it to his leg.
'Fly safe.'
He nibbled her finger and took off.
A few days past, and soon Zelta was heading towards her at breakfast.
'Zelt! Have you got my reply?"
He hooted, obviously pleased with himself. She took the letter and he flew off.
'That it?' asked Fred.
'This is it.' said Secret.
She began to open the envelope.
'Thank you Miss Snape.' said Snape, appearing from no where and trying to take it from her.
She held it out his reach.
'If you really were my father, you'd have no problem with me reading it.' she said.
She slit it open and pulled the letter out.
