Fletcher, being the man of steel he was, and also being a male with finely-tuned selective hearing skills, was able to tune out his own daughter's wailing entirely. He simply nodded back to Rae, without ever turning his head, and instead focused on the FRIENDS!!! he saw ahead.

Or rather...took him longer to decide on asking her, mainly thanks to Sabel and the way he'd reacted when he found out they were taking Arya to another country. The only difference with Ellie was that...it was for less than a day, and there will be far more people than on the camping trip to Ireland, but still.

Out of the corner of his eye, Fletcher saw another little flicker that indicated a guest's arrival, only this time by portkey. He turned his head just slightly and recognized the lad arriving; why it was none other than his all-time favorite fanboy!

"LIL LOCKHART!" he called out loudly, turning his handshake hand intended for Lexi into a wave for the young Puff. "WASSUP, MATE???!"

Merlin, he wasn't so little anymore!
