Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War |

The last day working for the Carnival. It had stopped snowing recently and everyone were removing the ice off the tent from the outside while the others dried it out from the inside.
"Everybody knows that," Bob was saying as he moved his wand along the tent's ceiling, riding on his broomstick with Bren doing the same nearby. "They're arrogant for a reason, you know."
"So you admit that the Malfoys were not the heroes you guys make them look they are." Bren smirked.
"No. Narcissa and Draco are heroes. Maybe Lucious isn't when you consider him not standing up to his wife when she was blackmailed but we don't know his conditions," Bob shrugged and craned his neck to see how much snow was left.
"No, my friend, he's not a hero because he attacked a bunch of teenagers back in 1995 at the department of mysteries battle," Bren snapped.
His friend blinked, "What battle?"
"The one they killed Sirius Black in! The one they broke the prophecy in," Bren couldn't believe that such a big historical event went forgotten.
"Sirius Black was crazy when he escaped Azkaban, dude. He died trying to get Potter out of Hogwarts." Bob shifted his broomstick to look at Bren clearly, "Listen, I'm not here to discuss history with you. Honestly, I barely care. I just want you to stay away from that Nait girl. I'm telling you all town avoids her tempers."
Bren looked around and spotted Eela again doing the work for her. He scoffed, "Her temper seems pretty great with that muggle boyfriend of hers."
"It's not our business. Just focus on your work." Bob frowned at him.
Looking intently at Eela, he noticed that the house elf stopped working and stared out toward the Lake's direction few miles away. Bren froced himself to focus on his work. The house-elf moved toward Lucie, who was talking with her friends nearby. The princessy girl waved her off and continued with her chitchat as Eela moved toward the edge of the Carnival's ground. Anticipation written all over the creature's posture.
Bren couldn't wait more, he abandoned the spot he was defreezing and zoomed down toward her. "Looking for someone?" He asked, two feet away from the ground. The house-elf bowed, grudgingly, and shot him a look with her big blue eyes. "No.. sir."
Bren didn't buy it, "Is it Nait? Where is she leaving you to do all of her work?"
"It's my honor to do my mistress' work for her." Eela lifted her head too high above.
"Yeah, sure you do." He stirred the broom to the left and headed toward the Lake, he was not going to interfere. He just wanted to know why Eela was so fishily looking in that direction.
He passed the narrow roads that shot out of the central zone linking it to the scattered mansions and houses in the region. Living in Fortvania for a year now, Bren didn't come across a complex or any small house. Everyone in here seemed to be well-provided and owned a big property. It gave the region a rural kind of atmosphere once you stroll out in different streets. Cars were not common, if at all existed in there since all of the inhabitants apparated with their family around the place. There was a big forest defining the west boundary of Fortvania that stretched near the big lake, which was on the western north side.
Bren's eyes widened when he caught sight of the scene at the lake; Nait was alone, running in an extremely fast speed and even if he couldn't see her face from far above, her body language mirrored the horror. The reason popped out right in front of the boy on the broom, hitting him hard and he lost control of the broomstick and was making his way downward to the ground - a shadowy figure had just hit him hard in the chest.
The boy fought with the handle trying to lower the speed, the green ground was getting closer with each passing second but he couldn't see where the figure had disappeared into. Around ten seconds later, Bren's legs hit the ground painfully and he rolled off the broomstick few times before lying on his back, panting.
Nait's voice was audible now, "Help! Somebo-" He straightened up quickly and saw her floating a foot off the ground, the dark figure hovering few feet above her head.
Bren stumbled to his feet and took his wand out, "Diffindo!" He shouted, unable to think of a happy memory just yet. The spell didn't reach them and he was running toward them, "DEPULSO!" He cried out loud and this time it did hit. Nait was dropped down on the ground with a loud grunt and the shadowy figure moved on toward the attacker.
"Diffindo!" Bren shouted. The shadowy figure dissolved into thin air. Just like that.
The boy stopped over the bent Nait lying on the ground in a fetus position, whimpering. "Hey.. he's..gone," he breathed out. The girl didn't reply and just squeezed herself into a small ball. "I'll...get you...help."
The wizard boy straightened up and was about to set off but the shadowy figure seeemd to find what it's been looking for, it materialized right over the girl, carried it and disappeared.
Bren was frozen to his place, it would've been quite a great excuse to say that the figure hexed him, or casted a spell at him that made him freeze - the truth was he was too shocked and scared to move.
He let it take a girl away.
