Gavin was following, right? As he made his way up here from the Atrium, Ryan never looked back if the man was following but who said he needed to anyway? Sir Gawain was experienced enough about working with him so no doubt he managed to follow.

Gavin sure hoped he had in truth been meant to follow his best friend for Ryan hadn't made any acknowledgement that he had known he was following. But then it wasn't like he expected much in the way of clues having worked long enough on cases with him. So he simply walked along acting as if he was heading to Level 2 for no other reason then to meet up with his friend. No need to be doing anything else, just a normal day at work.

"Once or twice," he mused answering his friend's question as he met up with Ryan by the floos on Level 2. "And its certainly not the best way to get around." But then he wasn't aware whether or not Ryan and the rest of MLE had reaquired their apparitions licenses.

Not that it mattered at the moment.
