As she scanned the drawers and cabinets, she neared the table where esme had been checking the bags and set down the items she couldn't store in her pocket. "Could you throw those in there, please?" Manners, always!
The woman didn't want to waste time scanning the other half of the room, and simply began to think out loud, naming what she already knew they had. "Camera, evidence seals and tape, torches, print kit, tape measures, notebook, paper bags, plastic bags, gloves, hair coverings, rulers, tweezers, scalpels, scene markers, blood test supplies, thermometer, swabs, portkey negation kit, goggles, muggle audio recorders--" she fired off quickly before remembering one more thing to grab.
The woman crossed quickly to a glass cabinet, pulling it open, and grabbing two seven-inch bottles of a greenish liquid. She smiled briefly at the thought of where she had purchased it and of the man who had sold it to her. But now was not the time for that.
She crossed again and handed one of the bottles to miss Bass. "Bundimun secretion. Disinfectant," she nodded with a smile. "I think that covers it," she said, zipping up one of the bags and slinging it over her shoulder.
"There's no way we can apparate into level nine, so we'll have to hurry. If there's already a team there, there is a chance evidence could be contaminated or destroyed. Especially if he's still there," she said, holding the door open for her. Elinor was probably just narrating what both of them knew, but she couldn't help it. She had few opportunities to do this, and wasn't going to keep her mouth shut unless she had to.
