With the egg project almost done and ready to be completed, Gideon's attention was once more on his silvery friend. Taking it out of its comfy portable home in his pocket as he walked, managing to look it over even as he moved. Almost seemed a shame that it was almost over seeing as he had gotten quite used to having it around that the slight weight in his pocket and its presence on his night table in the dorms just seemed natural nowadays.
Figuring to just stare at the egg wasn't very productive, Gideon walked over to one of the windows spaced along the corridor. Leaning back against the window sill, he slipped his wand from his pocket. "Excolo," he cast tracing the tip of his wand along the surface of the egg. He wanted it to look its best when he had to turn it in, that way it was proof that he had looked over it and cared for it like he was supposed to. Gideon turned the egg within the grasp that held it, careful to have the spell cover the entire egg cleaning and polishing any possible specks.
Perfect! Or nearly perfect...but quite close enough for him.
