Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - ❄ Lunar Library Lurker ❄ - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror Coming in from the outside, Gideon was about to head upstairs when he felt a slight movement in his pocket. He had grown to think that was a signal that something was up with his egg so he reached in and took it out to check on it. Rubbing his thumb over it as he held it with his one hand, he tried to judge the condition that seemed off. Was it too cool? "Argentum calidus," he cast with a swish and a tap, gradually warming it up just a little before stopping to check once more. The half-shivering, half-warboling of the egg slowed but didn't completely stop so he hadn't been quite right in his thoughts. Well there were other things it could be course so the Gryffindor would have to narrow it down. Too warm?...nae.
Too humid?...nae
Too dry?
Well the warmer weather was heading there way and the wet spring was dwindling so perhaps that was a choice. "Argentum humidus," he cast with a twirl and a point, each direction at its corrisponding word. After a few moments he stopped the spell and observed his charge who seemed to be alright not. Perhaps that was it...perhaps being outside had made its whole condition different. With that being thought, he returned both egg and wand to his pocket and resumed his journey upstairs.
