It was a nice day so Orr took Ginger out to hang by the Whomping Willow. She had with her a blanket which she laid down on the ground to sit on with Ginger.

Ginger, as if knowing what was going on started to twitch and shake in anticipation.

Orr laughed at the sight of the gently twitching egg, "You know what is coming huh don't you?" She said as she got her wand out.

"Okay. Let's get you to the right temperature. 'Argentum Frigidus'!" Orr swished and tapped her wand at the egg for a few seconds and then immediately said "Argentum Calidus!" whilst still swishing and tapping her wand. "how's that?" she asked Ginger. In response the egg twitched in contentment.

Orr grinned at the egg in her lap, "OK! Now for your favorite part!" She picked up a cloth which had been lying in her bag and and again picked up her wand and said, "Argentum Humidus" and pointed and twirled her wand at Ginger creating little water droplets on the egg. With the cloth, Aurora then stroked the egg. After she was finished, she uttered "Argentum Siccus" and pointed and twirled her wand so that Ginger would get completely dry.

Next she used the cloth again as Ginger twitched in contentment at Orr's stroking.

Orr smiled as she took her wand again and traced out different lines on the egg's shell and said "Excolo" as she traced.

This had become hers and Ginger's nightly ritual in the past months and it was as soothing to her as it was for Ginger the egg.
