30. Feast
Summer 2075 – The Great Hall, End-of-Term feast.
She's keeping an empty place for him, just like she's used to this term. Louisa waits all the students to swarm into the Great Hall.
He hasn't shown up yet. Her eyes are glued to the double doors until it is closed.

Worry urges her to look around and it doesn't take her long to recognize his back, sitting next to another fellow Ravenclaw. Louisa's grin comes despite herself and she makes loping steps toward them until he reaches for this fellow's hand and holds it. He looks into her eyes and Louisa sees half of his oh-so-happy face.

Ouch.
