After Charms, Orr returned to her Dorm with her egg cuddled in her arms. She didn't want to have anything happen to it so she immediately headed to her bed and little bedside table. She looked at her belongings and found her favorite jersey that her gran had knitted for her. It seemed fitting that her favorite jersey would protect her egg. She wrapped the egg in the jersey and cuddled both in her arms.

She thought that she should at least named it since she had to take care of it for the remainder of the semester. She decided on Ginger because of it's orange color.

As she cradled the egg in the jersey, she noticed its shine getting dull so she muttered, "Excolo" and pointed her wand at the egg in order to trace out the area she wanted polished.

Realizing that she was late for her next class, she bundled up Ginger in her jersey and put it in her bag.
