Tinny cursed herself angrily, not caring who was listening in on her conversation with herself as she watched Professor Dumbledore walk out of Great Hall with none other than the Minister of Magic. Tinny snorted to herself at the title that the man didn't deserve, recalling to mind her personal dislike for all things to do with the Ministry and the reason she hadn't mentioned the sound to the Aurors. She growled to herself, pushed her plate away from her, and left the Great Hall without so much as a wave to her friends as she went.
Yawning and stumbling quite a bit, she grumbled to herself, "I don't get enough sleep for this." She walked over to a dusty old hanging rug on the wall and pulled it aside, walking up the stairs that it was hiding. At the top of the stairs, she swung back a large portrait of a man dressed in shiny, purple trousers who sniffed slightly at her as she let his frame slam back against the wall and readjusted his hat indignantly. At the end of the hallway, Tinny glared at the stone gargoyle who glared just as menacingly back.
"Lemon filling," she said clearly. The gargoyle spun upward, revealing the staircase to Dumbledore's office. "If I'm not going to eat anything," she said to herself as she climbed the stone steps, "I'll just wait for Dumbledore to get through with his talk with Fudge and return to his office." |
