Chapter Two

What have I done? My parents are going to murder me once they find out that I just totally ran
away from home. Well I really didn't run away because I just walked out of the door so that's not
really running away. Is it? No it can't be, it just can't be. Yeah. No. Oh what the hell I don't even want to think about the running away thing because I'm on the Hogwarts Express with my best friends Nichola and Matt.

"So what's the deal with you not writting me back." Nichola said in a stern tone. She had a "tell me now so I know who to beat up" look on her face. She is that kind of best friend that would beat someone up if the did something to me or Matt. She's pretty awesome.

I looked at her and I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't know she wrote me. I didn't know that Matt had been trying to write to me either and I felt bad for the both of them. It made me seem like I was a bad friend and I'm not a bad friend at all. I'm really not. This is the part when I respond and Nichola will totally yell at me and freak out and that wouldn't bother me because I knew now she was. She loves to be dramatic and I think that she would be a great actress in the muggle world.

"I didn't know that you had written to me." I said with another shrug of my shoulders. What else was I suppose to say it was the gods honest truth and I would never lie to my best friend.

Nichola looked at me weirdly then her face looked like she was going to murder someone and I knew that it wasn't me.

"WHAT?! How did you not get any of my letters. I wrote you like hundreds of them." Nichola shook her head then she ran a hand through her dark curly hair. "BUT...b-b-but how?! I want to know who has been taking my letters from my owl." She said pointing to her big snowy owl. She has a dramatic frowny look on her flawless tanish make up face. Nichola stood up and stomped her foot on the floor in the compartment. She looked like a little kid and I thought it was kind of funny the way she acted.

I looked at Matt for some help but he just looked out the window. SO, WHAT WAS THE DEAL WITH HIM?! It was stupid to ask him right now because I knew that he wouldn't say it infront of Nick because if it was his girlfriend being a stuck up snob again then Nick would deck her in her ugly face. Okay well she wasn't ugly she is ten times more beautiful then I will EVER be. I mean that in the meanest way posible. She has hurt Matt before but he keeps going back to her and one of these days I will punch the girl in her face because I know what her grandmother did to Nichola's grandfather.

Nichola sat back down and her little kiddy fit was all over with and I sure was glad that it was because I don't want to hear her stomping around like a little kid. She always does that when she gets frustrated and I don't really blame her for it.

"Her father took all of the letters I wrote to her and burned them." Matt said softly and almost inauible. But I could still make out the words and so could Nick. Nichola shook her head. Then a smile grew on Nick's face and I knew that she had a come back at Matt just to lighten up the mood.

"So Matt." Nichola said hitting him with her elbow. She had a huge grin on her face. If it could get bigger then she would be laughing at any second. "So Matt...are you stalking Ari?" Nichola asked. "Wait...are you in love with her?" Nichola said as my face turned red and I looked away from both of them but I knew that Nick saw my face because she had eyes like a hawk and she was the only one in her family with hawk eyes well besides her grandmother who has good eye sight. When I looked back at Nick she had this pudding face look. What the heck? I'm totally confused now. What did I miss when I looked away?
