She really didn't want to do this... it wasn't so much the numbness- that she could deal with, but the smell.. well that wouldn't be pleasant.

She dipped her hand into the water... a single finger reaching down until it came into contact with the plant... Instantly its spindly green vines writhed around her finger binding to it like glue. The tingle weed turned a vibrant shade of scarlett and pink... then the screaming started... A horrible, blood curdling, scream gurgled out of the water from the plant. Seren thought she might go a bit deaf.

Shaking the tingle weed from her finger, she withdrew her hand from the tank, and replaced the lid with her free hand, securing it with her wand.
"Right... " she started... "Now that you've actually seen the tingle weed at its finest moment, who can tell me what its properties are?"
