My vote is for the lion-like person. It's begin stated earlier that Felix is one of the roots for Feline. I truely believe it's a person and it may be the Minister of Magic but I doubt it will be the DADA just because Chapter number is 14. Harry has always met the DADA before he gets to Hogswart and 14 is normally after the beginning of the school year.
