Chapter Six: Scorpius' PoV

Oh my word, if I had one more thought about Rose Weasley, I was going to do something drastic. Really drastic, like, tell her I love her drastic, wait, NO, that's a completely stupid idea, but on the other hand, maybe it's not. Groaning in irritation I decided to head over to the park in Diagon Alley, there was no way she'd be at a park was there. Settling on that I apparated once I exited the boundaries of my house. I arrived in an alleyway not far from the Leaky Cauldron, briefly greeted Hannah Longbottom and then continued into Diagon Alley, stopping at Floreans for some icecream.

He always commented on how polite and kind I was, funny, I didn't think I was that gentlemen like. Maybe my father wasn't the kindest person to him when he was a kid, that was probably it, sad as that is. Sitting down at the park bench, I noticed Chase Tim there, so I sat down next to him. “Hey Chase,” I said, I believe he was at the party last night, his mother Cho Tim was somewhat friends with Luna Scamander. He looked up and grinned at me. “You were at the party last night, right?”

“Yea, it was pretty wicked, and also Weasley's birthday, gosh she is so hott.” Chase marvelled as I gagged on my ice cream and resisted punching him. I nodded meekly, not sure what else to do. “I mean, you, even as a Malfoy, got to admit it. I just can't wait for the day when she and I are together, I can totally tell she likes me, why in the name of Merlin wouldn't she?” He paused for a bit in his obnoxious ramblings and then continued. “She'd totally hate you though, so don't even bother going for her.”

“Well um, I don't really care for her at all anyway, she is a Weasley after all.” I stood up, really annoyed with Chase at the moment, ugh, some times I just want to curse people into next week, but with Chase, I wanted to curse him into next century. He nodded, but his eyes were glazed, as if he was thinking, and he probably was, about Rose, which made me so flipping angry. I was the only one allowed to say she was hott, I don't know, or care, what gave me that privilege, but I still had it. In my frustration I didn't notice a certain red head until I ran into her. “Rose!” I exclaimed astonished.

“Scorpius! I uh, I've got to be, getting, er, somewhere.” She mumbled, she was smiling a little bit, but for some reason she still seemed rather upset as she quickly left.

I was confused but continued in the direction where I was going, when my feet suddenly turned me around and I began to follow Rose, not like a creepy stalker, heck no, but because I was worried about her. She was leaving Diagon Alley through the Leaky Cauldron, so I automatically went there as well, staying a bit behind her, incase Mrs. Longbottom thought about greeting me and Rose noticed, and then she'd never talk to me again, thinking I was a stalker. I waited till she was outside till I came out of the back room, and as I suspected, Mrs. Longbottom, smiled said hi and waved a little bit. I responded, trying to not look like I was in a hurry or following Rose.

As soon as I got outside I noticed that Rose was crossing the road, she looked back for some reason, but I'm not sure if she noticed me or not, and then she continued going, my eyes widened seeing the bright red convertible, before she did, and before they saw her. “ROSE!” I yelled out helplessly, but even as I reached for my wand, I saw the accident.

I was shocked, I couldn't move, my body was numbed. I couldn't feel anything and it felt as if someone was posessing my body and making me move forward, quickly I got Rose out of the road, there were still people screaming, and others calling the hospital. Rose was completely unconscious, it looked as if she was bleeding from her head, I had to get her to St. Mungo's immediately. The driver had gotten out of the car and was helping me, muttering his apology over and over, he looked near hysterics. I knew I was, inside at least.

Finally I was able to get into the Leaky Cauldron again, where Mrs. Longbottom rushed over to me, I was unable to say anything, what if Rose died? This was all my fault, I'd never be able to live with myself if she died. She could NOT die. With the help of Hannah, I was able to floo to St. Mungo's and get Rose seen immediately, I was breathing heavily, if breathing at all as I was made to sit outside the room where she was. Merlin, what if she had a boyfriend and he showed up, he would be so mad at me for hurting his little angel. I am never, ever, ever, going to be able to live this down.

Within ten minutes family members of hers were already showing up. One of the first, was her brother, Hugo I believe. He took one look at me and glared. “What the hell are you doing here Malfoy?” He snapped, I looked up at him, half shocked. “Get out of here, you don't have any reason, or right, to be here.” He pointed at the door angrily, I shot up, my fists clenching. How dare he say this to me? “Leave, now.”

“I have every right as you do to be here.” Maybe that wasn't completely true, but hey. “I'm the one who brought her here, I think I deserve to know if she will be all right or not.” Hugo's jaw dropped, but he quickly shut it, that was until he began to speak.

“Yea, right, you're probably the reason why my sister is hurt in the first place!” I lost it there and punched Hugo right in the face. I heard someone scream and there was a few shouts.

“SCORPIUS!” Lily then screamed, and grabbed my arms. “Hugo, you guys both need calm down!” She looked frantically at us, and I noticed that Albus was holding Hugo back from attacking me. “Hugo, you have no right to be making accusations at Scorpius, you don't even know him, and Scorpius, don't you ever punch any of my family again, because I won't be able to hold back the wrath of myself and my family even if I wanted to.” I nodded mutely, glowering at Hugo.

Finally, Lily let go of me, and I was able to go sit down, yet again having to wait to find out of Rose was all right or not.
