“Meanwhile; at Lily Evans’s Table.”

Lily eyes the familiar jet-black hair before turning to Mary Macdonald.

“What’s he doing here?”

Mary shrugs, a coy smile on her lips as she peeks over at the Marauders table. “Are you so vain, Lils?”

She bristles, straightens in her chair, and turns from Mary instead to the front of the room. “Not at all.” Her voice strains and she peeks a glance towards the boys. “Obviously, it’s not because of me.”

"Three Sickles say he's doing this to get Lily Evans' attention."

Lily ignores Sirius’s voice and Mary’s snigger. “I need a tissue.”

She hurries past their table.
