His breath was hot; unbearably hot. Was that normal? I blinked, feeling my breath hitch as I took another lungful of his scent. My eyes had met his for only a moment but it was enough to make my cheeks feel ablaze. I tried averting my gaze but with Rodolphus directly in my line of sight, my eyes were full of him. Defeated, I frowned down at his disturbingly adorable small nose. I didn’t move even as his hands trailed down my arms and to the small of my back. A sudden movement from Rodolphus startled me and I looked up against my better judgment. His lashes were dark and incredibly pretty.
