Godric frowned at Rowena’s question. He didn’t want to play the role of the owl now and deliver the horrible realization that Salazar had been using one of his love concoctions for half a year now. It wasn’t that he was doing it to protect his best mat, he just wanted her safe and happy.
“You…you went away for a long time,” he said sadly. “But, none of that matters now. You are back now, with me.”
He took a hold of her hand and placed the ring she had thrown at him in its rightful place on her finger.
