Hermione did not like the look Fred and George were giving Crookshanks. The pair of them had been eying the feline for several hours now as they sat in 12 Grimmauld Place waiting for the Order meeting to finish and for Mrs. Weasley to call them all down for supper. Hermione had been reading the most recent Daily Prophet and had a look of utter disgust on her face as her eyes feel on each word. Aimlessly, she reached her hand out and began petting Crookshank’s large ears.

“Do you gather it really would work?” Fred asked his brother jabbing him in the side with his elbow.

“I reckon it would,” George nodded.

“What are you two going on about?” Hermione asked looking over the top of the paper.

The twins looked at one another and large smirks spread across their faces. Hermione wrinkled her nose. The two of them looking pleased with themselves was never a good thing.

“We were just wondering if Crookshanks would be able to fly with his ears if we used a Twitchy Ears Hex on him.”
