This was going to be hard, convincing them it was a helpless place when ghosts were everywhere - there were moving portraits - oh god. What if the portrait talked to them? She thought, "Should we tell the portraits not to talk to anyone?" She asked, actually concerned "I know my mum said It scared her when she first saw it." Her mum, had gone to Beauxbaton as a kid.
"Last I saw everyone they were trying to convince them to leave the tree alone." She nodded, hoping that had actually happened.
Jeremy nodded slowly, still half hidden by his own desk as he was going through drawer after drawer in search for something. Maybe he had them in his room after all. Hmm. Acting along was a very good idea.
"Yes, continue doing that. Anything to keep them from suspecting anything." Yes, he KNEW about the Statute, thank you very much.
Sigh.
Finally emerging from behind his desk with a pile of Muggle clothes in his hands, Jeremy just gave Kyle a rather incredulous look. What was she TALKING about?!
"We can just hope they don't even get to SEE the portraits in the first place. We have to keep them out of the castle, Kyle." He gave her a serious look to see she had got that while putting the clothes onto his desk.
So they were still at the Whomping Willow. Hopefully Chad was already with them.
"Okay, you go ahead and go back there, make sure everything is still...well, not worse than before. I'll be with you in a minute." Yes, right away, right away.
