“You really are scary, you know that! No wonder you haven’t got many friends,” Ron said crossing his arms.

“Just because I won’t do your essay for Professor Snape does not mean I am scary,” Hermione retorted putting her quill down on her parchment. “Look, even Harry is doing his own work without complaining!”

“Please don’t bring me into this,” Harry said looking more at Ron than Hermione. “This assignment is painful enough as it is without you two going at it.”

Hermione returned to her assignment that was already well past the six inches required. Meanwhile Ron, who hardly had his name on his parchment, leaned over to try and look over her shoulder.

“Geeze Hermione, can’t you do something with your hair?” he groaned. “It’s blocking my view!”

“It wouldn’t be in your way if you were looking at your own parchment,” she snapped turning her head so quickly that her hair smacked Ron in the face.

“Ouch!” Ron cried falling back on the sofa.

Rolling her eyes, Hermione returned to cross examining her Potions and Charms book. “Oppugno,” she read. “I am going to have to remember this one.” She glanced over at Ron.
