Default Review: Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson ALA READ posters

The Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson READ posters from the American Library Association promote some of the trio's favourite books. Daniel, standing before a smoky brick-coloured background, holds a copy of one of his latest favourite reads, The Master & Margarita. Dan's poster is darker and even connotes a fiery presence about it, due to the black and dark-red background featured, which, of course, contrasts greatly to the huge grin on the Harry Potter star's face.

All three of the poster's are surprisingly almost life-size, and this is coming from someone who has met and stood a couple of feet from all three stars. Rupert's, comparative to Daniel's, is brighter and warmer, due to the white shirt and bright red hair the actor is famous for. Rupert holds a copy of A Clockwork Orange, a personal favourite of his, and smirks almost knowingly at the camera. It's a great look for Rupert, if not a bit eerie in the way he stares at you.

Emma shows her love of reading by hugging her favorite book, William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. This poster, as the others, is quite large at 22” x 34”, and is constructed of fairly thick paper, making it less likely to accidentally tear like flimsier posters often do. The image of Emma is sharp and bright, and makes you want to curl up with a book yourself to experience the magic of reading.

For those who love reading, and are fans of the three stars of the Harry Potter series, the READ posters are a great add to their collections. Plus, given their life-size images, the fans can feel closer to the actors, as though they're standing with them in their homes.

Dan's poster, as well as Rupert and Emma's are available for purchase individually on the American Library Association's website, or as a set, which also includes Alan Rickman's poster.
